Ortaklaşa’s advocacy works are nourished by the concrete experiences that are filtered through the sub-grant program, the mentorship process, and the community works. Our fundamental goal is to render visible the examples of good practices in the field and enable the adoption of concrete steps for a more participatory cultural management model in Türkiye.
Policy Notes: We turn our experiences into policy notes that focus on cultural rights and cooperation models. These notes become advocacy tools used in the negotiations conducted with decision makers.
Official Visits: By engaging in direct contact with public institutions and stakeholder organisations, we convey the local models of fair cooperation to the national level.
Ortaklaşa on the International Platform: By participating in international conferences, we present our repertoire alongside the examples from across the world and render the experience of Ortaklaşa a part of the international cultural policy discussions.
MARUF 2027: Through the special sessions we will organise at the Marmara Urban Forum (MARUF), we are starting a discussion on the municipality-CSO cooperation in an international platform.
Brussels Meeting: In the third year of the program, we are sharing the experiences of the community directly with the stakeholders in Europe. We have a vision of a common future along the axis of arts and culture.
to contribute to the development of a rights-based and inclusive ecosystem where cultural policies are deliberated and produced collectively.
