A Call for Cultural Partnership between Civil Society Organisations in Europe and Türkiye
An invitation to cultural organisations in Türkiye and Europe to cooperate, build on their experiences, and create together. The Ortaklaşa International Cultural Collaboration Call opens on 17 September 2026.
Ortaklaşa International Cultural Cooperation Call
Ortaklaşa: Culture, Dialogue and Support Programme, supported by the European Union and implemented nationally since 2023, Istanbul Foundation for Culture and Arts (İKSV) has developed an innovative model of collaboration between CSOs active in the field of arts and culture and municipalities. By fostering participatory approaches to cultural policymaking and project development, this model has strengthened motives for local collaborations.
Partnering with Culture Action Europe, the programme takes on an international dimension in its new phase and aims to deepen the cultural collaboration between Türkiye and Europe.
Who Can Apply?
A culture-oriented civil society organisation (CSO) established in Türkiye.
One CSO partner from European Member States, Albania, Iceland, Montenegro, North Macedonia, Kosovo, and Serbia.
One participating municipality from Türkiye.
One participating municipality from European Member States, Albania, Iceland, Montenegro, North Macedonia, Kosovo, and Serbia.
Why Focus on International Cultural Collaboration?
The call offers a unique funding mechanism that brings together civil society organisations and local authorities from both EU and Türkiye. Drawing on diverse local experiences, the call seeks to strengthen international networks, encourage sustainable cross-border cooperation, support cultural mobility and new mentorship and advocacy efforts with inspiration drawn from the 3-year-long experience of the first phase of the project.
